Iselin Vollen Steiro was born on September 15th 1985. She grew up in Harstad, a small town in the northern part of Norway.
Iselin was discovered in 1999 by a model scout while Christmas shopping with her parents in London. In 2003 she walked her first fashion shows for Calvin Klein and Prada. After finishing high school in 2004 Iselin moved to New York to pursue her modeling career, which soon took off. In 2006 she moved back to Norway to study architecture, but continued to appear in advertising campaigns and magazine editorials.
In 2009, during a break from her studies, Iselin made a runway comeback walking over 20 of the most coveted fashion shows, which lead to some of the busiest seasons in her career. Since then she is balancing her modeling career with continued architecture studies.
During her years of modeling Iselin has been privileged to work with many of the top photographers, magazines, designers, brands and editors in fashion. Iselin is listed as "industry icon" by the model ranking website models.com.
